Personally, I am not a fan. I have seen no evidence that drug use improves the creative abilities of a creative person. I think it's more likely that the belief that drug use is required for creative output hinders sober output through learned helplessness. You can stop thinking and doodle something ridiculous whenever you damn well please. 5-year-olds do it all the time on nothing but apple juice.

What made you think that I use drugs for creative ends? Well, maybe a little... I write about magic and shamanic staff - so I just describe my experiences and then mutate it into something really brilliant. But the only improvement for creativity known to me sounds like "study".
